Negotiation of land sales to overseas missions;
Development of leases reflecting negotiation outcomes
Aiming to achieve consistency in leasehold conditions;
Negotiations with missions, DFAT and various national security agencies on residential land leasing and development;
Management of site servicing issues, especially in relation to new developments (eg embassy extensions, annexes);
Indirect inputs to land exchange agreements affecting leasehold arrangement for Australia’s overseas missions
Seeking to achieve reciprocity or parity within the constraints of Australia’s legal framework
